Corrective / Preventive Action Module

FavoWeb system supports a full scale corrective/preventive
action.
Each individual event/incident/Non conformance or failure
within the database can be associated ("connected") to a
certain issue.
Issues are defined a systematic problem of repeated events
or event with substantial impact, which requires an
investigation and implementation of corrective action.
FavoWeb System supports
8D methodology in its investigation
protocol into issue's root cause.
By utilizing FavoWeb's
Corrective Action module, the user
can invite participations to the FRB/MRB meeting, list
issues for discussion, assign action items and follow up on
Corrective/Preventive Action implementation and
effectiveness.

Dashboard Module

The Dashboard is a graphic analytical presentation
of reports, metrics, status levels etc.
This interactive tool allows the authorized users to view
concise real-time information such as trend analysis,
failure distribution / pareto, MTBF level and correlations.
FavoWeb Dashboard helps decision makers to analyze trends,
safety, availability, system status and grasp more than one
dimension in one look.
The tool's "drill down" capabilities allow the user to
look/investigate metrics and data outputs.
The module is customizable and therefore can be tailored
according to customer's specifications.
FavoWeb is well integrated with existing OLAP based tools
(both SQL Server and Oracle based).
FavoWeb Dashboard Features:
• Flexible management reports view
• Alerting mechanism
• One look general view
• OLAP methodology
• Implemented on NET. Platform (no ActiveX)

Alerts / Notifications Module

The need to inform, alert or notify relevant
individuals is a key element in any failure/incident
treatment.
Alert Module enables automated sending of messages to
relevant professionals according to pre-defined "trigger
points".
Example of such "trigger points" includes (but not
limited to):
a. A certain action has been completed or passed on to
another person – a relevant notification will reach the
appropriate person.
b. The due date of a certain action has passed – the
relevant individual will receive an alert message.
c. The condition of a certain tool has reached an "abnormal"
level (3 occurrence over a short period of time, or a
high/low MTBF level etc.) – an alert will be sent (along
with an attachment of the report) to the relevant
individuals.
d. An incident has occurred during off-hour in the plant - a
message will be sent to alert relevant people.
FavoWeb Alerts allows creating an unlimited number of
user-defined criteria for alerts and notification issuing.
FavoWeb Alerts Module plays a crucial part in the overall
safety and efficiency of any process.

System / SN Traceability Module

This module allows to define a list of installed
systems (units) and maintain a two level configuration
management – system level and sub-system level.
All installed systems and sub- systems can be recorded with
their respective serial numbers and LRU assemblies.
The module allows for systems usage data (clocks / meters)
to be defined and their readings to be collected for future
analysis over a certain timeline or usage metric (engine
hours, Km, transition hrs., operation hours etc.). This
information is crucial for accurate
reliability calculations
such as MTBF, Reliability Growth etc.
The module also serves for tracing an installation history
of each serial number/system.
System and sub system information can be entered manually
through FavoWeb GUI or imported form external database.

Warranty Module

The warranty claim database aims to preserve history of the
warranty returns and to carry out some requests in order to
realize statistical analysis which will be part of Quality
studies or will be taken into account during new parts
design.
Most analysis is based on Weibull distributions.
The database is a key tool in the deployment of a warranty
plan/policy, which examines extended warranty scenarios.
Main Functions
• Preserve an history of the warranty returns
• Make analysis to predict failure trends (Weibull curves)
with associated costs
• Compare analysis made on different products, in different
countries
• Have reliable quality data to be used as references for
the development of new technologies
• Improve and simplify the management of warranty data
towards customers or suppliers
• Trace action plan to solve the warranty problems
• Improve the reporting streamlining and cross information
analysis
• Support the deployment of the ”Reliability” culture in
the organization

Report Generation
Import/Export Data
FavoWeb™ is a third
generation FRACAS tool which synthesizes 20 years of knowledge
into the most up-to-date information technology available
today. FavoWeb™ is a Failure Reporting and Corrective Actions
System. Usually used by the quality assurance experts in the
organization to manage reliability growth throughout the
entire product life cycle.
The application allows users to report
failures to the system, manage action items to repair
associated failures, conduct failure review boards (FRB) for
deciding on corrective actions to be taken against diagnosed
epidemics, perform powerful data analysis, generate flexible
and fully customizable reports.
FavoWeb™ is a flexible and highly adaptable application,
allowing customization of input screens, functional modules,
user reports and organizational workflow.

Collect Failures

FavoWeb™ allows construction of user defined forms for
collecting failure data.
These forms include the latest methods and
controls, such as combo-boxes, links, file attachments, logical
trees and more, that can eventually reduce the human factor
error in feeding data to a minimum.
In addition, FavoWeb™ can network to
external systems in the organization for required input data
such as PDM, ERP, human resources and more (compliance with most
common databases such as Oracle, AS400, DB2 etc.)
FRBs
and Corrective Actions

FavoWeb™ supports failure review board (FRB)
and corrective action diary management, including distribution
to board members and action items (AI). These managerial tools
are used to diagnose epidemics and conduct preventive
maintenance to eliminate problems in the future.
User
Roles

FavoWeb™ differentiates the users and
divides them into several customizable groups.
Each group can be given different
permissions and roles.
For example:
INITIATOR user role authorized only to initiate failures and
input the failures symptoms.
ANALYST user role authorized only to add analysis documentation.
REVIEWER user role authorized approve or reject the analysis or
corrective actions taken.
ADMINISTRATOR user role authorized to make administrative
modifications and customization to the application.
Email
Notification

Each action or state in FavoWeb™, can be defined to trigger an
Email notification message, that can be sent to any user or
group of users.
The Email message is fully customizable by
the system administrator.
This feature allows managers to be
notified of problems that have yet to be resolved and escalate
problem to the attention of repair-experts.
Workflow Control

The FavoWeb™ 's concept includes reporting failure information
on a product from different stages of its life cycle.
Also each failure can be cut down to
several input forms theoretically reported by different people.
A first level failure report can be
followed by a second level report etc.
All these tasks and responsibilities are
independent and need to be inside a closed-loop mechanism
controlling work inside the organization.
This mechanism is called Workflow.
From the user point of view, the workflow mechanism is opened by
choice as a tasks window.
This window includes all lines of
information needed for the user group's work.
Every task has a status - open in the
beginning, then in-work after opening the task, then closed at
the end.
The change of the status is controlled by
the user, where closing a task must include a user and password.
Opening a task (clicking on
the line), automatically opens the relevant window (failure
window for instance) and changes the status of the task to
in-work. A log file records all task activities for later
research and inquiries.
Report Generation

FavoWeb™ has a powerful tool that allows the user to construct
various reports, save them to a template (if needed), view them
in the browser or export them to an Excel worksheet for further
analysis.
The report generator has built in reports
such as failure distribution and failure list, and special
reports like MTBF, MTTR and Weibull distribution can be easily
applied upon request.
Import/Export Data

FavoWeb™s flexibility allows users to import external data to
the application using a simple Excel spreadsheet file.
These data can be used in the application
to define a product, a clock or a batch insertion of failure
data.
In addition, all the data collected in the
system database can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet. |
